Man Who Spent N10.7 Million to Look Like Dog Says Dogs Refused to Play With Him

A man who spent money making himself look like a dog encountered a disheartening setback, as actual dogs shunned him at the park.

Pooch-wannabe Toco became famous after posting a clip of himself in his ultra-realistic dog costume as he walked the streets of Tokyo.

Why was Toco disappointed in the park?

Despite the substantial investment in his canine fantasy, his attempts to befriend real dogs were met with surprise and indifference.

In an interview with The Sun, Toco expressed his disappointment, stating:

“They seemed a little surprised, and unfortunately, they did not treat me as an equal.”

Despite occasional online criticism and speculations, he remains steadfast in his passion for animal role-play.

Toco-san responded to judgmental comments with a poignant statement, “I’m just sad that people can think that. I love animals and enjoy play-acting like a collie. This is my hobby so I will carry on.”

Toco is now on a quest to connect with other therians—individuals who identify as non-human species. His search reflects his desire to find like-minded individuals who can appreciate and understand his unique form of self-expression.
